Rani KoHEnur has partnered with THG India under a new co-management arrangement aimed at building her career as a recording and live performer, with a focus on original music, artist development and international collaborations.
Under the partnership, THG India will oversee the development of her music career across A&R, artist development, live music and music-led commercial opportunities. Mango Films will continue to represent her for acting and modelling.
The move marks a strategic shift for Rani, who has worked across independent music, Bollywood playback, television, film and live entertainment, as she looks to establish music as the primary focus of her career.
“Art is art, and art has no gender,” Rani said, adding that she wants her music to transcend audience and community boundaries rather than be confined to a particular segment.
Rani represented India on the international singing competition Queen of the Universe and made her Bollywood playback debut alongside Sunidhi Chauhan on “Pari Hoon Main” from Thank You For Coming. She has also built a live performance portfolio spanning genres, languages and vocal styles.
Rani KoHEnur Eyes International Collaborations
Looking ahead, Rani has set her sights on building a global music career and bringing Indian artistry to international audiences.
“I want to be remembered around the world, and I want my legacy to be my music,” she said. “I want to put India on the global map with my eclectic artistry and vocal dexterity.”
Her aspirations include performing alongside Beyoncé, Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga, while she has named RAYE, Adele and Zara Larsson among her dream recording collaborators. She also expressed interest in collaborating with Shakira on an entire album that brings their musical styles and cultures together.
As part of the partnership, THG India will work on developing Rani’s original repertoire, identifying collaborations, strengthening her live performance proposition and creating opportunities to expand her presence in international markets.
Explaining her decision to partner with THG India, Rani said she had been deliberate about finding a team that understood both her existing work and her long-term ambitions.
“With THG India, there was a shared understanding of the vision from the beginning — creatively, strategically and in terms of where we believe the music can go globally,” she said. “It feels like the right partnership at the right time.”
THG India to Build Rani’s Music Career
Taylor Jones, CEO of The Hello Group, said Rani's vocal versatility, stage presence and ambition presented an opportunity to build a broader international career.
“We’re not looking at music as an extension of what Rani has already achieved elsewhere. We see it as a major artist career in its own right,” Jones said.
He added that the focus would be on developing her repertoire, live show and international opportunities with a long-term approach.
The partnership will see THG India work alongside Mango Films, with both teams focusing on different aspects of Rani’s career.
THG India is a joint venture between The Hello Group and Sony Music Entertainment India. The venture works across talent management, live bookings, music publishing, A&R, artist development and international collaborations, with a focus on building global opportunities for artists and creators from South Asia.
For Rani, the ambition behind the partnership is broad. “I want to do it all. If ‘dream big and make it happen’ were a person, it would definitely be Rani KoHEnur,” she said.
