Nearly two decades after its inception as an artist management company, Music Gets Me High (MGMH) is entering a new phase of growth. Founded with a long-term vision to support independent artists meaningfully, the company has steadily evolved alongside India’s changing music landscape, expanding from management into infrastructure, education and a wide range of artist-focused services.
Now, 19 years in, MGMH has announced the launch of its in-house marketing division and its entry into physical music formats, including vinyl and CDs. With this development, the company positions itself among the first independent distribution players in India to integrate both digital and physical formats within a single ecosystem.
The move reflects a growing effort to bridge collector culture with the modern streaming economy. As vinyl experiences a global resurgence, MGMH aims to make high-quality physical releases more accessible to Indian independent artists, reducing dependence on overseas intermediaries and enabling artists to retain greater control over their work.
Simultaneously, MGMH’s Connect Division continues to expand its international presence. The division consults for global companies seeking entry into India while also facilitating opportunities for Indian artists to access international markets.
