Remember when the biggest questions in the world had the simplest answers and somehow, the grown-ups never seemed to get them right? Little Thomas taps into that familiar childhood curiosity with its latest song, ‘Adults Wrong Hai’.
The makers of the upcoming feature film, starring Gulshan Devaiah and Rasika Dugal, have released the film’s second track on Junglee Music, a division of Times Music. The song offers a playful glimpse into the world of seven-year-old Thomas and his determined attempts to make sense of the questions adults often brush aside.
Composed by Shailendra Barve and sung by Anupam Barman, ‘Adults Wrong Hai’ features lyrics by Ranjan Singh and Iago. At the heart of the song is Thomas’ innocent mission to discover where babies actually come from, only to conclude, with complete childlike confidence, that the adults around him have got it all wrong.
Rather than relying on complicated explanations, the track leans into the logic of a curious seven-year-old. A lively children’s chorus and acoustic instrumentation complement the song’s playful mood, while its humour and innocence make the premise instantly relatable.
Written and directed by Kaushal Oza, Little Thomas is produced by Luminoso Pictures, Civic Studios, Good Bad Films and Flip Films. The film is produced by Anushka Shah, Rajnikant Oza, Charu Oza, Ranjan Singh and Anurag Kashyap.
‘Adults Wrong Hai’ is now streaming across audio platforms, with its full video available on the Times Music YouTube channel.
Little Thomas is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 23.
