India’s most beloved singing reality show, Indian Idol, is back on Sony Entertainment Television, promising a musical journey under the heartfelt theme , Yaadon Ki Playlist: Jahaan Awazein Aaj Wali Aur Gaane Aap Wale. This season aims to blend the fresh voices of today with the timeless songs of yesteryears, offering viewers a celebration of Indian music, memories, and extraordinary talent.
Ahead of the new season, judge Vishal Dadlani shared a touching childhood memory that sparked his passion for music. Reflecting on the roots of his musical journey, he said, “My whole life is full of music that I've formed memories around. The first song I remember is one my mother used to sing to me , ‘Phoolon Ka Taron Ka’ and she would replace the word ‘behna’ with my name. I always hear that in her voice. My parents’ love for music inspired me and subtly led me to pursue it.”
The new season of Indian Idol premieres on 18th October 2025, airing every Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 PM on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV.
