Himesh Reshammiya Melodies Acquires Music Rights For Anil Sharma’s ‘Arjun Naga’

Himesh Reshammiya Melodies has expanded its film music portfolio by acquiring the music rights for filmmaker Anil Sharma’s upcoming film Arjun Naga. The move comes shortly after the label secured the music rights for Sooraj Barjatya’s Yeh Prem Mol Liya.

The acquisition marks a broader expansion for Himesh Reshammiya Melodies beyond projects produced under Reshammiya’s own banner.

Arjun Naga, directed by Anil Sharma, known for films including Gadar and Gadar 2, is described as a multi-genre mass entertainer. Himesh Reshammiya has also composed the film’s music, with the soundtrack expected to feature songs across different moods and genres.

The film marks the third collaboration between Reshammiya and Sharma, following Apne (2007) and Genius (2018). While Genius did not perform strongly at the box office, its music gained popularity online.

Arjun Naga stars Utkarsh Sharma in the lead role, with Arjun Rampal playing the antagonist.

Himesh Reshammiya Melodies has also acquired the music rights for ** Gunmaaster G9**, which reunites Reshammiya with actor Emraan Hashmi and director Aditya Datt after their collaboration on Aashiq Banaya Aapne. The film also features Genelia Deshmukh and Aparshakti Khurana.

The latest acquisitions underline the label’s expanding presence in the Hindi film music space, with its portfolio now extending across multiple upcoming film projects.
