Badshah Returns As Rap Supremo For Hustle 5

The wait is over for hip-hop fans as India's rap reality show, Hustle, is set to return with its fifth season. Leading the new edition once again is Badshah, who reprises his role as the show's Rap Supremo, mentoring the next generation of rap talent.

Ahead of the season premiere, the makers unveiled a promotional film featuring an AI-generated version of Badshah confidently claiming to be the perfect Rap Supremo. The playful concept takes a twist when the real Badshah appears, delivering the punchline, "Prompt se toh nahi ho paega! Hustle 5 guys, let's keep it real." The campaign highlights the growing conversation around artificial intelligence while reinforcing the importance of authenticity, creativity and human expression in music.

Speaking about his return, Badshah said, "Tech can recreate almost anything today but it can't duplicate the emotion, the grit and the truth of an artist. That's the soul of Hustle. With Badshah back at the helm, Hustle 5 aims to spotlight India's emerging rap artists while continuing its focus on authentic storytelling and homegrown hip-hop culture.

Hustle 5 premieres on August 8 and will air on JioHotstar and MTV India at 7 pm, every Saturday and Sunday.
