Amazon Music India Launches ‘Track By Track’ Featuring Karan Aujla’s P-POP CULTURE

Amazon Music India has launched a new edition of its exclusive Track by Track series, this time spotlighting Punjabi music’s unstoppable force, Karan Aujla. The feature arrives on the heels of Aujla’s much-awaited album P-POP CULTURE, which dropped on August 22, 2025.

Through Track by Track, fans get more than just the music, they’re invited into the artist’s creative world, as Aujla shares the inspirations, stories, and emotions behind every song.

“One thing I came back to while making this album was for sure my roots,” Aujla reflects.

The idea for P-POP CULTURE was born during a quiet, personal moment, backyard time with his dogs, contemplating his next move. That reflection sparked a concept rooted deeply in culture and identity. “Where I was born in Punjab, my village Karala, this album helped me come back to that place and just enjoy,” he recalls.

Split into two discs, the project is as experimental as it is personal. Disc 1 explores themes of love, vulnerability, and relationships, while Disc 2 leans into his upbringing,an ode to the lessons and memories of his hometown. “The layout of the album is really different, in the way the songs connect to each other,” Aujla explains.

Collaboration also shaped the project in unexpected ways. Some of his band members, unfamiliar with Punjabi, contributed guitar riffs, piano lines, and live instrumentation for the tracks. Aujla sees this as proof of music’s universality:

“They didn’t really understand the language, but they played Punjabi songs beautifully. It showed us music has no language. The goal of this album is to tell the world, listen, if the music’s good, language doesn’t matter.”

With P-POP CULTURE now streaming, Amazon Music India’s Track by Track offers fans an intimate lens into how one of Punjabi music’s biggest voices is pushing boundaries while staying true to his roots.
