Ahmad Alghawanmeh has joined Warner Music Group (WMG) as General Manager, MENA, taking on a new leadership role focused on the company’s operations and growth across the Middle East and North Africa region.
Alghawanmeh announced the appointment on LinkedIn, expressing his gratitude to Ahmed Nureni and the wider regional and global team for the warm welcome as he begins his new chapter at WMG.
Prior to joining Warner Music Group, Alghawanmeh was associated with Sony Music, bringing experience from the global music company to his new role at WMG. His move adds further industry experience to Warner Music Group’s leadership in the rapidly evolving MENA music market.
Sharing the announcement, Alghawanmeh said he is excited to work with the team and its partners to help build an “empowering home” for Arab artists and culture.
His appointment comes at a time when MENA continues to emerge as an important growth market for the global music industry, with Arabic music gaining wider reach through streaming, digital platforms and international collaborations.
