T-Series Presents Tulsi Kumar’s New Fiery Dance-Pop Track 'Shartaan'

Tulsi Kumar has returned with a dynamic new single, Shartaan, marking a bold new chapter in her artistic evolution. The high-energy dance track positions Kumar in a fresh avatar,vocally, visually, and stylistically,as she embraces themes of empowerment and reinvention.

Composed by Abhijeet Srivastava with lyrics by Shayra, Shartaan blends global pop polish with Indian sensibilities. Built on an infectious beat and a catchy hook, the track is designed for playlists and dance floors alike, with its bright, international soundscape and freestyle-meets-Bolly choreography.

Directed by Ranju Varghese, the music video amps up the visual storytelling, set inside a surreal, life-sized dollhouse. The narrative unfolds through bold colours, glossy textures, and choreography-driven sequences, reflecting a journey from betrayal to self-assertion. Kumar appears in four striking looks, each showcasing a different shade of strength and attitude.

Speaking about the project, Tulsi Kumar said, “Every artist reaches a point where they want to break their own patterns… Shartaan became that moment for me. It pushed me to explore a new dance style and discover a version of myself I didn’t know existed. This space is visually elevated, global in sound, yet still rooted in who I am.”
