No matter how madly in love two people may seem to be, there are always phases in the relationship that witness fights and related sadness. No one can deny this because everyone has been through it. Picking up on this universal theme, singer, songwriter, and composer Sarthak Saksena, has released his first multilingual single titled ‘Phase’. He says, “Life is a roller coaster of emotions. The song ‘Phase’ is a song depicting feelings of longing for some and hope for others. Longing for what seems far away – love or professional success. As for the feeling of hope, the song signifies the ray of light that we hold on to, which keeps us going.”
26-year-old Saksena is an avid performer, who is currently training in Hindustani Classical Music under Ghulam Hasan Khan, son of Padma Vibhushan Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan. He draws his inspiration from artists like John Mayer, AR Rahman, Amit Trivedi, The Beatles, and Queen and has been professionally performing since the age of 21 with over 500 shows in India and abroad. His digital associations include brands like Google, Microsoft, Saregama, MTV Beats, Big FM 92.7, and others. Saksena’s music is described as being fresh and reflects his passion and love for the art with a hint of western inspirations, while staying connected to his classical roots. He believes that his music is raw and has a spiritual significance and he hopes to inspire and uplift people with it and help them move forward.
