Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival Returns For 10th Anniversary With Global Lineup

The Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival is set to return to the City of Lakes from February 6–8, 2026, marking its 10th anniversary with an expanded celebration of world music and cultural exchange. Conceptualised by SEHER and supported by the Rajasthan Department of Tourism, the festival has become one of India’s most distinctive destination music events, bringing together artists and audiences from around the globe.

The three-day programme will feature over 20 bands from more than 10 countries, blending global sounds with India’s rich musical traditions. Performances are curated around the natural rhythms of the day across three iconic Udaipur venues: Manji Ka Ghat for meditative and soulful mornings, Fateh Sagar Paal for romantic, folk-oriented afternoons, and Gandhi Ground for energetic, youth-focused evening concerts.

Among the lineup are celebrated Indian artists and composers such as Amit Trivedi, pioneering folk-rock band Indian Ocean, and Arunachal Pradesh-born guitarist and singer-songwriter Taba Chake, alongside international ensembles from regions including France, Spain and North Africa.

A highlight of this edition is a special focus on the Sarangi, a rare Rajasthani string instrument, with performances dedicated to showcasing its cultural significance. Traditionally a free-entry event to promote cultural tourism, the festival will continue this practice while also offering premium and VIP zones with ticketed access.

Over the past decade, the Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival has evolved into a global celebration of harmony and diversity, reinforcing Udaipur’s reputation as a cultural hub where music transcends borders and connects traditions.
