Sunburn has rescheduled electronic music artist Anyma’s Mumbai show, Anyma Presents ÆDEN, from November 21 to November 22, following an Excise Department update declaring November 21 a dry day on account of Kartiki Ekadashi.
Announcing the change on social media, Sunburn said the revised date would allow the event to proceed without uncertainty following the clarification. The concert will take place at Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Mumbai, marking Anyma’s India debut.
In its statement, the organiser expressed regret over the inconvenience caused and said the revised schedule would help ensure the best possible experience for attendees.
Sunburn also outlined the refund process for ticket holders unable to attend on the new date. According to the announcement, BookMyShow will send a refund link to eligible customers’ registered mobile numbers. The refund window will remain open for 48 hours, with requests accepted until October 25 at 12 PM.
The announcement drew mixed reactions from fans, particularly those who had made travel arrangements around the original date. One user, @oh.mansi, criticised the last-minute change, saying flight tickets had been booked around the original schedule due to a friend’s wedding. The user also raised concerns about the additional financial burden and inconvenience caused by rescheduling.
Responding to the backlash, Sunburn acknowledged fans’ disappointment and reiterated that the date change was necessary for the event to go ahead.
“We hear you, and we understand the disappointment around the date change. Unfortunately, this was the only way to make the show happen, and we’re doing everything to ensure it does,” the organiser said, adding that Anyma’s India debut would go ahead on November 22 at Mahalaxmi Racecourse.
The rescheduling comes during a busy period for live music events in India, as international electronic music acts continue to draw audiences. Known for combining techno with immersive visuals and large-scale audiovisual production, Anyma is expected to bring his ÆDEN show to Mumbai for his first performance in the country.
