Bajaj Finserv has announced the grand finale of its digital-first music talent platform Bajaj Dhuniverse, scheduled for March 31 in Mumbai. The event will crown the ‘Voice of the Nation’ in the presence of acclaimed composer trio Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy.
Launched as a nationwide music discovery initiative, Dhuniverse has, over the past six months, attracted more than 60,000 participants from across India, spanning metros as well as smaller towns and rural regions. Built on a digital-first model, the platform enabled aspiring artists to audition via audio and video submissions, ensuring accessibility beyond traditional physical formats.
The finale will feature live performances by ten finalists and one wild-card entrant, all shortlisted through a rigorous evaluation process led by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy. The winner will receive an opportunity to co-create Bajaj’s sonic identity with the trio, along with recording an independent album with Zee Music Company and collaborating on a streaming release.
Manav Mianwal, President – Digital Platforms at Bajaj Finserv, said the initiative reflects the company’s long-term commitment to building platforms that nurture talent and create new cultural role models. He added that the strong response in its debut edition sets the stage for further expansion.
Members of Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy highlighted the diversity and quality of talent discovered through the platform, noting that the digital-first approach enabled wider participation and brought forward voices from across the country.
Entries for Dhuniverse opened in November 2025 and closed in January 2026, with over 60,000 submissions recorded without traditional mass media amplification. A multi-layered evaluation process narrowed the pool to the top 100 contestants, who were mentored through a digital episodic format before the final selection.
The March 31 finale will be hosted as a live on-ground event in Mumbai and streamed nationwide, marking the culmination of one of India’s largest digitally driven music discovery initiatives.
