Trilok has unveiled a new creative chapter with the launch of Studio Sessions ft. Legends, a series centred on live, honest musical moments captured in an intimate studio setting. The debut session features veteran playback singer Sadhana Sargam, one of India’s most revered voices, performing the timeless bhajan “Shree Ramchandra Kripalu Bhajman.”
Recorded in a single, unembellished take, the session places the spotlight firmly on Sargam’s voice. Trilok’s musicians remain understated, adding subtle light-rock textures that enhance the performance without overpowering its devotional essence.
The arrangement consciously avoids reimagining or modernising the bhajan. Instead, gentle guitar lines, bass, drums and ambient layers flow in organically, allowing the prayer to unfold with quiet restraint while staying true to its spiritual core.
More than a reinterpretation, the session is about presence, creating space for a familiar prayer to be experienced in a contemporary studio environment without diluting its meaning. The result is a seamless meeting of generations, where tradition and modern sound coexist with ease.
With Studio Sessions ft. Legends, Trilok aims to collaborate with more iconic voices and music personalities, building a growing archive of live performances that honour musical heritage while remaining rooted in the present.
