Bacardi NH7 Weekender Pune Lineup Is OUT NOW!

GUESS WHAT! IT'S WEEKENDER SEASON!

Bacardi NH7 Weekender is an annual festival that takes place in various cities in the country and for it's 9th edition in Pune, the lineup was announced yesterday and oh my, is it one to look out for! One of the biggest things to note from this lineup is that it feels like a very well thought out lineup - as if its one long show rather than a festival with different kinds of bands. That does not mean that the lineup isn't diverse! It's also clear that OML (Only Much Louder), the company that handles the booking for the festival has tried very hard to push Indian Comedians it has under its management! The main attractions for the lineup will definitely be the legendary Instrumental Rock Guitar Player Joe Satriani, the Neo-Funk/Soul powerhouse Hiatus Kaiyote all the way from Australia, the flawless American Progressive Metal band The Contortionist, Fresh French Neo-Soul from FKJ and Irish Post/Progressive Rockers God Is An Astronaut! But don't worry, the lineup is also championing Indian acts along with an array of brand new acts that have never played the renowned festival before! The sounds of Indian Fusion are definitely spearheaded by the flawless duo of Salim and Suleman and the legendary Shubha Mudgal, followed up by household names such as Dualist Inquiry, The Local Train, Mohini Day, Benny Dayal and more. It will be interesting to see new acts such as Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Tanya Nambiar and Dot. on such a big stage!
