Mangal Dhwani' And 50+ Instruments Lead The Ceremonial Start Of Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha In Ayodhya

The 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of Lord Ram's idol at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will kick off with a musical extravaganza featuring over 50 traditional instruments from 18 states. Termed as the 'Mangal Dhwani' by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, officials consider it a "rarest of the rare" musical event.

The concert, commencing at 10 am and lasting until 12 noon, is set to include some of the biggest names in the music industry. Ayodhya's own Yatindra Mishra will orchestrate the grand musical rendition, supported by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi.

The diverse array of instruments, representing different states, includes the Pakhawaj, flute, and dholak from Uttar Pradesh, Veena from Karnataka, Sundari from Maharashtra, Algoza from Punjab, Mardal from Odisha, Santur from Madhya Pradesh, Pung from Manipur, Nagada and Kali from Assam, Tambura from Chhattisgarh, Sehnai from Delhi, Ravanhattha from Rajasthan, Shri Khol and Sarod from West Bengal, Ghatam from Andhra Pradesh, Sitar from Jharkhand, Santaar from Gujarat, and Nagaswaram, Tavil, and Mridangam from Tamil Nadu, among others.

The 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony, honoring the childhood form of Lord Ram, Ram Lalla, will draw attendees from diverse backgrounds, including representatives of major spiritual and religious sects, tribal communities, and prominent personalities. The ceremony is scheduled to commence at 12:20 pm and is expected to conclude by 1 pm. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the gathering after the ceremony.

The consecration rituals, initiated on January 16 from the Saryu river, will culminate on Monday afternoon in the auspicious 'abhijeet muhurta,' as per the trust's schedule.

Actor Manoj Joshi is currently in Ayodhya to participate in the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony scheduled for Monday. Adorned in a golden-hued printed kurta pyjama, Joshi expressed his eagerness for the ceremony, describing it as a profoundly emotional moment. He emphasized the significance of the occasion, noting the end of a long-awaited period. Singer Sonu Nigam, also attending the ceremony, considered himself fortunate to have received an invitation.

Several prominent figures from the entertainment industry, cricket, politics, art, literature, and culture have been invited to the Ayodhya ceremony. Notable Bollywood celebrities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana, Anupam Kher, and Kangana Ranaut are among those expected to attend.
