Vivendi is proud to partner with the My Earth Concert for Kids initiative in cooperation with UNICEF

French integrated content, media and communications group, Vivendi is proud to partner with Grammy Award winner, Ricky Kej, an Indo-American composer, music producer and environmentalist for My Earth Concert for Kids which will be live streamed and broadcast globally on World Music Day (June 21). An ensemble cast of Grammy Award winning musicians from around the world will perform songs composed for children, with catchy tunes and simple words on the theme of environment protection and sustainability.  Vivendi brings forth this event with the support UNICEF and other International Bodies like WWF, UN Climate Change, Earth Day Org, 50 Years Earth Day 2020. The songs that will be featured in this concert have been composed based on the 17 Sustainable Goals set by the United Nations that include climate action and sustainability and are aimed at instilling social responsibility for the environment through music in children aged between 5-11yrs. The concert will aim to awaken a sense of concern amongst kids so that they are cautious about their actions from the early stages of their lives. Kej alongside five other Grammy award winners from across the world created 'My Earth Songs' highlighting the needs of the planet and the action we, the people of the planet, need to take to correct the imbalances and ensure a clean, green planet for future generations. The 27 songs in the series are meant for children but will appeal to people of all ages. “We do not inherit this planet from our ancestors, but we borrow it from our children. If we want to create a more environmentally conscious society, then we have to reach out to children, and the best way is through music. I am very excited to perform for the My Earth Songs concert, which will provide much needed meaningful entertainment to children, especially during these pandemic times,” added Ricky Kej. The concert also aims to raise awarensss around UNICEF’s response for children as the world grapples with the COVID-19 Pandemic. Donations received from this world-wide concert will support UNICEF’s #Reimagine campaign that seeks to prevent the Covid -19 Pandemic from becoming a lasting crisis for children globally. UNICEF, UNCCD, Ricky Kej) .   The feed of this concert  is also supported and  available on several DTH platforms including -Dish D2H , TataSky, OTT platforms including Tik Tok, Zee 5, MX Player, Vodafone Play, Hungama Music ,Idea . This will also be exclusively  on YouTube on the T Series channel which is the largest globally.
