Indian indie duo Twin Strings has teamed up with the Singapore Tourism Board to unveil Rhythms of Singapore, a four-part music-led content series that brings together sound, storytelling and travel through the lens of individual artistic expression.
Conceptualised as a multi-sensory journey, the series sees each member of Twin Strings create an original track inspired by their personal passion points, from photography and movement to art and nightlifeset against the vibrant backdrop of Singapore. Blending music with immersive visuals, the project captures the city’s cultural diversity and dynamic energy across four distinct episodes.
Spanning four original tracks, Rhythms of Singapore explores different moods of the city through a mix of locations including Haji Lane, Little India, Clarke Quay, Helix Bridge and Gardens by the Bay. Each episode reflects a unique phase of the journey, from the thrill of new beginnings to introspection and the vibrancy of nightlife, offering a layered narrative that moves between street culture, heritage pockets and after-dark experiences.
The series rolled out across March with four episodes: Into The Sky (March 14), Through The Lens (March 17), Afterglow (Found My Light) (March 20), and What I Take Home (March 27). Each track builds on a distinct emotional arc, starting with the spontaneity of travel and culminating in a celebration of shared experiences and lasting memories.
Speaking about the project, Twin Strings said, “Rhythms of Singapore is not just about music,it’s about experiencing a city through emotions, visuals, and sound. Each song is a moment we lived, and this series is our way of sharing that journey with everyone.”
Markus Tan, Regional Director at the Singapore Tourism Board (IMESA), added that the collaboration aims to connect with young Indian travellers through authentic storytelling. He noted that Singapore’s ability to seamlessly blend heritage, culture, dining and nightlife makes it especially appealing to Gen Z and millennial audiences seeking diverse, spontaneous experiences.
With Rhythms of Singapore, Twin Strings and the Singapore Tourism Board position music as a powerful storytelling tool, one that not only captures the essence of a destination but also reimagines how audiences engage with travel through creative expression.
