The Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) has launched three regional chapters covering North, South and Eastern India to strengthen local knowledge exchange and promote professional development across the advertising industry.
The new chapters will bring together advertising agency leaders with decades of experience in brand building and advertising services for government bodies, financial institutions, non-governmental organisations and businesses across sectors.
As part of the initiative, each chapter will organise workshops, fireside chats and peer-learning forums tailored to the specific needs and market dynamics of its region.
AAAI Announces Regional Chapter Leadership
The North chapter will be chaired by Kunal Lalani of Crayons Advertising Ltd, with Santosh Kumar of Innocean Worldwide Communication Pvt Ltd and Sunil Chhabra of Pamm Advertising & Marketing serving as co-chairs.
The South chapter will be led by K. Srinivas of Sloka Advertising Pvt Ltd as chairperson, with C. Muthu of Maitri Advertising Works Pvt Ltd as co-chair.
Priyanka Chatterjee of Standard Publicity Pvt Ltd will head the Eastern chapter as chairperson.
Commenting on the initiative, Dr. Sandeep Goyal, President, AAAI, said, “Regional chapters are critical to building a stronger, more connected advertising industry in India. With Kunal, Santosh, Sunil, C. Muthu, K. Srinivas, and Priyanka leading these efforts, we’re ensuring that local insights and talent shape national standards. This is about putting agency leaders closer to the conversations that matter.”
The regional chapters will operate within AAAI’s national framework while retaining the autonomy to address region-specific priorities. The initiative aims to bring agency leaders closer to local industry challenges, encourage collaboration and ensure regional perspectives contribute to the development of India’s advertising ecosystem.
