BIG FM Enters Realty With Rs 1,200 Crore Bahraich Township Project

BIG FM, operated by Reliance Broadcast Network, has announced its diversification into the real estate sector with the launch of a new vertical, Big FM Realty.

As part of its maiden project, the company has acquired nearly 80 acres of land along the Lucknow–Bahraich Road in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The development is expected to generate an estimated revenue of Rs 1,200 crore. Over the next three years, the company aims to clock cumulative revenues between Rs 3,500 crore and Rs 4,000 crore from its real estate ventures.

The upcoming project will be developed as a mixed-use township featuring plotted developments, group housing, as well as commercial and retail spaces. The location is poised to benefit from infrastructure upgrades, including the proposed four-laning of NH-927, which is set to enhance connectivity between Lucknow and the Nepal border.

A spokesperson for Big FM Realty described the move as a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey, stating that the brand intends to bring its legacy of trust and scale from media into thoughtfully designed real estate developments. Bahraich, the spokesperson added, presents strong growth potential and serves as the starting point for the company’s broader vision of expanding into urban development across India.

The launch marks a strategic expansion beyond Big FM’s core radio and media operations.
