Telangana will showcase its cultural heritage through folk and classical music, dance and traditional art forms at the Invest Telangana Global Summit-2026, scheduled to be held on December 7, 8 and 9.
Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju has directed officials to organise performances representing different regions of the State during the summit’s inaugural ceremony, aiming to introduce national and international delegates to Telangana’s diverse cultural traditions.
Reviewing the summit preparations through a video conference with senior officials, Jaju also called for a Cultural Carnival on December 9, the final day of the summit and the Raksha Expo. The event is expected to draw large crowds, particularly visitors attending the Air Show.
As part of the promotional activities, curtain-raiser events for the summit will be held in Hyderabad on October 24 and New Delhi on October 29.
Jaju also instructed officials to strengthen publicity across major cities, including through prominent hoardings at international airports in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, as well as at Telangana Bhavan and key locations in the national capital. In Hyderabad, promotional material will be displayed along the route to Shamshabad airport, on major roads, at prominent landmarks and in star hotels.
The Chief Secretary further called for extensive outreach through national print and electronic media, alongside social media platforms. He suggested producing short promotional films featuring film personalities and other celebrities to highlight the summit’s significance.
