Smarters Music Studio Launches In Mohali, Brings Global Production Standards To North India

Punjabi actor and cultural icon Gurpreet Ghuggi hailed the launch of Smarters Music Studio in Mohali as a significant step forward for Punjab’s creative economy, citing its global-standard technology and potential to elevate regional music and cinema.

Driving the vision behind the studio is Sukh Brar, a well-known music producer and mixing and mastering specialist with extensive experience in Punjabi music and films.

According to Brar, the studio was designed to bridge the infrastructure gap often faced by creators in North India.“Smarters Music Studio was envisioned as a space that brings international-level music and post-production capabilities to Punjab,” Brar said. “Our goal is to give artists, filmmakers and content creators access to world-class infrastructure that genuinely supports creative ambition. A key differentiator of the facility is its installation of the DaVinci Resolve Advanced Panel, a premium colour grading system widely used in international cinema and high-end OTT productions. With this addition, Smarters Music Studio becomes the only music studio in North India to offer such advanced visual post-production capabilities, enabling cinematic-grade finishing and broadcast-ready mastering within a single integrated setup.

Beyond visual post-production, the studio offers a comprehensive suite of audio services, including professional recording, music production, stereo and Dolby Atmos mixing and mastering, background scoring, dubbing, podcast production and sound restoration. These services are supported by industry-grade acoustics and high-end monitoring systems designed to meet global production standards.
