Samsung has expanded its home audio portfolio with the Music Studio 5 wireless speaker, now available in India at Rs 22,990. The speaker combines wireless music streaming, Dolby Atmos support and SmartThings integration with a design aimed at complementing modern home interiors.
Designed by French designer Erwan Bouroullec, the Music Studio 5 features a distinctive dot-inspired design. The speaker is part of Samsung's Music Studio series, which also includes the higher-end Music Studio 7.
The Music Studio 5 features a 2.0-channel audio system with three drivers, including a woofer and dual tweeters. Tuned by Samsung Audio Lab, it incorporates AI Dynamic Bass Control to deliver deeper bass while minimising distortion.
For connectivity, the speaker supports both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 6.0, alongside Chromecast, AirPlay, Spotify Connect and Spotify Tap. It also supports wireless Dolby Atmos for an immersive listening experience.
SmartThings integration and connected audio
The speaker integrates with Samsung's SmartThings app, allowing users to manage sound settings, access music streaming services and control group playback. It also supports Q-Symphony, enabling users to pair compatible Samsung TVs and audio devices for a more integrated sound experience.
The Music Studio 5 is designed for both standalone music listening and connected home audio setups, bringing together sound technology and minimalist design.
