Percept ICE Wins 2 Awards At ‘EDCA 2023’

Percept ICE, the Special Projects, Events and Experiential Marketing Domain Company of Percept Limited, has won 2 Awards in the categories of ‘Best Set Design – Physical Corporate Event’ and ‘Best Use of Technology – Special Event’ at the inaugural edition of EDCA (Experiential Design & Creativity Awards) 2023 held on April 29, 2023 in Mumbai.

Percept ICE bagged an Award in the most sought after category of ‘Best Set Design – Physical Corporate Event’ for The Artisan Awards 2022. Conceptualized for Gem and Jewelry Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the event theme "The Collectors" showcased jewel items pertaining to three famous women of the early and mid-1900s. Monochrome hues and muted floral arrangements depicted the glorious past era, while Wine, Salmon Pink and Rose Red colors depicted the individual personalities of these 3 icons in their respective themed display areas. The Stage Area saw a dark backdrop which sparkled with starry spotlight projections, while glamorous gold panels added the perfect balance of glitz. A massive acrylic panel podium with the event name imprinted and lit up served as the perfect opulent touch to a glamorous set design.

Percept ICE also won an Award in the new age category ‘Best Use of Technology – Special Event’ for Snapchat Tech Engagements. The ‘Snapchat AR Mirror Wall’ created at the Sunburn Festival Goa and refashioned at the Lollapalooza Music Festival offered users the most 'Snap-Worthy' moment of the event using a platform that wasn't accessible with a mere smartphone. The installation enabled guests to click 'the' most iconic 'Snap' of the event with bespoke filters available only via the installation. The installation was bathed in the iconic Snap Chat Yellow color that was a visual crowd puller even from a distance. The AR Mirror Wall was a magnificent homage to the highly relatable experience of the 'Mirror Selfie' and attained the objective of highlighting Snapchat’s iconic position in the Social Media domain with their Target Audience in a highly interactive and engaging manner.

Said Vidya Alva, EVP & Business Head, Percept ICE, “It is an honor for Percept ICE to have won 2 awards out of the 5 entries at the inaugural edition of EDCA. The awards highlight the vast diversity of creativity, engagements and experiential design projects designed and produced by Percept ICE while staying focused on achieving brand objectives.”

“EDCA has set greater benchmarks for the industry in the inaugural year itself and we are thrilled that our projects have been recognized and lauded in two of the most sought after categories by the EDCA jury. We take pride in sharing these laurels with our esteemed clients Snapchat and GJEPC, and look forward to many more creations and innovations at ICE,” added Vidya Alva.

The inaugural year of the Experiential Design & Creativity Awards (EDCA) saw participation from over 70 agencies and a whopping number of 600+ entries. To felicitate the event industry’s geniuses, EDCA presented a unique “UNconference” concept which saw the event fraternity network, learn, showcase and celebrate creative brilliance.
