Bangladeshi actress and singer Nusraat Faria has launched her own YouTube channel, where she plans to share lifestyle vlogs and release her upcoming music.
The decision follows a positive response from her Instagram followers after she asked whether they would be interested in watching videos about her everyday life. According to Faria, nearly 99% of respondents supported the idea, encouraging her to take the initiative.
Speaking about the launch, Faria said she wants to give audiences a glimpse of her life beyond the glamour of the entertainment industry. She also plans to use the platform to release her music, as she continues to work on new songs.
The actress, however, clarified that she has no immediate plans to venture into film production and intends to focus on her current projects.
On the work front, Faria is currently shooting for Lojja, directed by MH Khokon and jointly produced by Impress Telefilm and Jaaz Multimedia. She has completed the film's first shooting schedule and is expected to resume work on November 25. While details of her character remain under wraps, she has hinted at playing a challenging role, possibly that of a police officer or commando.
She has also wrapped up filming for Lapatta, a web film directed by Mehedi Hasan Hridoy for streaming platform iScreen. A promotional song is expected to be shot soon, following which the makers will announce its release date.
Meanwhile, Thikana Bangladesh, a government-funded film directed by Anam Biswas, is expected to release in theatres towards the end of the year. Faria has indicated that the project will present audiences with a different side of her performance.
With the new YouTube channel, Faria is looking to expand her digital presence while bringing her music and everyday experiences closer to fans.
