Guru Randhawa To Become First Indian Artist To Perform On EDC Mainstage With Steve Aoki

Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa is set to achieve a major milestone in his international music career, becoming the first Indian artist to perform on the mainstage of the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), one of the world's biggest electronic dance music festivals.

Randhawa will join Grammy-nominated DJ and music producer Steve Aoki during his set at EDC Orlando on November 7, where the duo will perform their recently released remix of Randhawa's Punjabi hit Sirra.

The three-day festival, taking place from November 6–8 at Tinker Field in Orlando, Florida, will see the collaboration bring together Punjabi pop and electronic dance music on an international platform.

Speaking about the milestone, Randhawa said, “Representing India and our sound on the EDC mainstage is a massive honour. Steve Aoki and I have built something special with the Sirra remix that completely fuses two very distinct worlds.”

Aoki also expressed excitement about the collaboration, highlighting how electronic music can bring different cultures together. He described sharing the stage with Randhawa as an incredible experience.

The Sirra remix reimagines the original track from Randhawa's album Without Prejudice, blending Punjabi melodies with high-energy electronic beats. According to figures shared with the announcement, the original track has garnered over 356 million streams and 550 million YouTube views. The official remix, facilitated by Warner Music India, is available across major streaming platforms.

Randhawa's EDC appearance comes ahead of his upcoming concert, Sirra Era Live in Concert, scheduled for December 12 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. The show will mark his return to live touring after a three-year break and celebrate 13 years in the music industry.
