Get Ready for The Remix's Winner, Su Real's 12-City Tour!
Delhi-based bass music producer, Su Real, was recently declared as the winner of The Remix. The show matched a DJ/Music Producer with an artist and as a result, the team of Su Real and Rashmeet Kaur was framed. This Amazon Prime reality show gained a lot of buildup due to the concept it was based on. However, The Remix witnessed the conclusion of their first edition on May 4, 2018. Su Real & Rashmeet Kaur have won the show by pushing out popular duos like as Sreeram-Candice and Thomson-NSG. As a result, Su Real has won a 12-city celebratory tour. This will take Su Real to massive stages in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Guwahati and even Kathmandu. Su Real is undoubtedly one of the most prominent names in the music industry. Likewise, Su Real can create and curate for the dancefloor with offhand ease. However, it was Su Real's versatility and knowledge which made his palette wide enough for The Remix. His knowledge in genres like hip-hop, Bollywood, mooombahton and even baile funk led him to success. Their duo literally blew away The Remix judges namely, Amit Trivedi, Sunidhi Chauhan & Indian bass-king, Nucleya on a weekly basis.

Wait, but who are Su Real and Rashmeet Kaur?

Suhrid Manchanda aka Su Real is not a new name for the bass or EDM fans. His music has been very popular among Desi bass fans. Su Real's 'Twerkistan' came out in 2016 and gained instant popularity as well. On the other hand, Rashmeet Kaur is the singer of 'Heer' from Anushka-Diljit starer, Phillauri. In fact, both of these artists have cemented their positions even before The Remix. Su Real has performed sixteen insane remixes over the span of ten episodes of season one. His track 'Bajre de Soundboy' was used in EA Sports' FIFA 2018 trailer. In a conversation with Loudest.in, Su Real shed some light on his experience with The Remix.
I feel blessed to have been a part of Season 1 of The Remix on Amazon Prime, for it is truly a game changer as a platform for modern Indian singers and music producers,The content is Bollywood-based but the music, visuals, dancers incorporate a lot of what’s happening on the cutting edge of these arts in India. We proved that it is time to re-draw the musical landscape in India – it’s not just Bollywood or commercial or trance. Don't get me wrong, Bollywood is great and I love a lot of filmy music, but the melting pot of Indian popular music has much, much more in it – the masala mix is diverse and the tadkaa is pungent. Our taste buds can enjoy a diversity of flavors and so can our ears, and our hips; we can co-exist,
says Suhrid of his experience.

?Su Real also revealed three tracks which really worked for him and helped him win the finale.

"'Dhak Dhak' from finale "War of DJs" round definitely helped us win the trophy. I've got 20 or so tweets about that song so far. 'UP Bihar Lootne' from "Found Sounds", Episode 5, had kitchen sounds in it. This experiment made it very popular. 'Ranjha Ranjha' from Episode 4 was when Rashmeet and I started to click as a team." Su Real was on a hiatus from gigs due to the shoot of The Remix. This 12-city tour will witness a new side of him and his music. Su Real's #Winning tour will kick off in Delhi on May 18, before travelling to Jaipur (May 19), Khopoli (May 26), Guwahati (June 2), Kolkata (June 3), Hyderabad (June 9), Mumbai (June 15), Pune (June 16), Bangalore (June 23), Kathmandu (June 29), Chandigarh (June 30) and Indore (July 7). Be on a look out.
