Amazon India has launched its Diwali campaign, #DeliverTheLove, highlighting the importance of family, shared memories and being present for loved ones during the festive season.
The campaign film follows Bittu, a young man living away from his elder siblings, who finds an unusual way to remind them of their childhood bond. After watching a young child being sent to fetch a bottle while his siblings light a rocket, Bittu is reminded of similar childhood moments with his brother and sister.
He then sends each of them an empty glass bottle through Amazon, accompanied by handwritten notes recalling their shared memories. Recognising the sentiment behind the gesture, his siblings are moved, eventually leading to a Diwali reunion.
Through the story, the campaign reinforces the message that the most meaningful festive gift is not something that can be bought, but the presence of loved ones.
Commenting on the campaign, Anuradha Aggarwal, Director – Marketing and Growth, Amazon India, said, “As a brand, we know that we play a big role in our customers’ lives during the Diwali season with millions of customers choosing us for gifts and festive shopping. But the day of Diwali is, above all else, about your near and dear ones. So, we put our customers at the heart of this campaign by reminding them that the best Diwali gift is the one you can’t shop for anywhere, not even on Amazon and this is your presence at home.”
She added that the campaign encourages people to “Deliver The Love” themselves, emphasising that no Amazon box can hold the joy of a loved one's visit home.
Anurag Agnihotri, Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy West, said, “Deliver the Love has always championed the idea of presence over presents. Recognising today’s social landscape, where families are increasingly spread across geographies, we built on this insight to spotlight what truly makes the festive season special: meaningful connections, a sense of belonging, and the joy of being together.”
The campaign also extends beyond the digital film through an activation at the arrival areas of Delhi airport. Designed to make the entrance appear as though people are stepping out of an Amazon package, the installation brings the campaign’s message of reunion and togetherness to life.
With #DeliverTheLove, Amazon India encourages people to travel home and spend time with their families, reminding them that the most valuable Diwali gift is their presence.
