Aisha Returns With Empowering New Single 'Do It Anyway'

Singer-songwriter Aisha Ali Chopra, who performs simply as Aisha, has released her latest single, Do It Anyway, an R&B and hip-hop track that explores the inner conflict between self-doubt and self-belief.

Released on July 1, the two-minute-and-twenty-five-second song captures the emotional push and pull between negativity and positivity, encouraging listeners to keep moving forward despite uncertainty. Framed as the perfect companion for long drives and moments of reflection, the track centres on themes of resilience, healing and perseverance.

Speaking about the song, the Bengaluru-based artist said, "Do It Anyway is a song about inner struggle and the war between negativity and positivity in the mind. The words talk about confronting your fears while acknowledging your own shortcomings."

Musically, the track blends soulful R&B melodies and layered vocal harmonies with gritty percussion, textured guitars and choral backing vocals, creating a sound that balances vulnerability with quiet strength.

Do It Anyway marks another milestone in Aisha's artistic journey. Known for writing about resilience, inner healing and female identity, the singer has performed everywhere from karaoke bars in Bengaluru to the international stage, including the Avon Voices global talent competition, where she was judged by Fergie, Diane Warren and Natasha Bedingfield.

The release follows Aisha's 2017 debut album, Naaz, and continues her focus on emotionally honest songwriting. With Do It Anyway, she delivers a reflective anthem that reminds listeners that while self-doubt may persist, choosing to move forward remains a powerful act of resilience.
