South Korean entertainment company HYBE is bringing its flagship global music festival, Weverse Con Festival, to India for the first time, with the two-day event set to take place in New Delhi on March 27 and 28, 2027.
The India edition will mark the festival’s first outing outside South Korea, signalling HYBE’s growing focus on the Indian music and entertainment market.
The festival will bring together K-pop and Indian artists, alongside live performances, fan engagement activities, interactive experiences, brand activations and cultural programming. HYBE has also indicated that the India edition will feature special collaboration stages bringing artists and audiences from different musical cultures together.
The artist lineup is yet to be announced.
Weverse Con Festival Expands to India
HYBE’s global superfan platform Weverse will play a key role in the India edition, extending its artist-fan ecosystem from the digital space into a live festival environment.
The event is expected to combine large-scale performances with immersive fan experiences, giving audiences opportunities to interact with artists and fellow fans beyond the main stages.
Commenting on the India debut, HYBE CEO Jason Jaesang Lee said the festival represents a new chapter in the company’s “multi-home, multi-genre” strategy and reflects its commitment to India as an important market for global growth.
He added that HYBE aims to combine its global capabilities with India’s creative ecosystem to build experiences that resonate with local audiences.
BookMyShow to Handle Ticketing
Tickets for Weverse Con Festival India will be available through BookMyShow, with detailed ticketing information and the artist lineup expected to be announced later. The BookMyShow event page currently confirms the March 27–28 dates and Delhi-NCR location, while the exact venue is yet to be announced.
The festival’s India debut comes as HYBE continues to strengthen its presence in the country.
HYBE opened its Mumbai office in September 2025, making India its fifth global headquarters alongside operations in markets including Japan, the US, Latin America and China.
The company has also been investing in local talent discovery. HYBE INDIA launched nationwide auditions in 2026 as part of its efforts to identify and develop Indian talent with global potential.
India Becomes a Key Market for HYBE
The arrival of Weverse Con Festival further underlines HYBE’s strategy of developing local ecosystems while connecting them to its global music and fandom network.
The company has been pursuing a “multi-home, multi-genre” strategy across markets, focusing on developing local artists, intellectual property and entertainment experiences.
The approach has already resulted in projects such as KATSEYE, HYBE’s US-based girl group created in partnership with Geffen Records.
With Weverse Con Festival now expanding to India, HYBE is taking that strategy into the live entertainment space, bringing its global festival format to one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing music audiences.
The festival has previously been held in South Korea, where it has evolved into a major annual music and fan experience. The 2026 edition in Seoul attracted 34,000 attendees across in-person and online audiences, according to HYBE.
