Diljit Dosanjh kicked off his RuPay AURA India Tour 2026 with a sold-out performance at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi, marking the beginning of the pan-India leg of the tour. The opening show witnessed a packed stadium as thousands of fans gathered to experience the singer's live performance.
The Delhi concert marks another milestone in Dosanjh's global touring journey, following sold-out performances at major international venues, including Madison Square Garden in New York and Wembley Stadium in London, where he became the first Punjabi artist to headline and sell out the iconic venue.
Opening the show with ‘Morni’, Dosanjh took the audience through a setlist featuring several of his popular tracks, including ‘G.O.A.T.’, ‘Ikk Kudi’, ‘Lalkara’, ‘Lover’, ‘Case’, ‘Panjtaara’, ‘Hass Hass’, ‘Saanso Ki Mala’ and ‘Water’. The performance brought together fans across generations, with audiences singing along to some of his biggest hits.
The India edition of Aura featured the signature sound, visuals and immersive production that have defined the tour's international shows. The evening also saw Dosanjh invite fans on stage to dance and sing alongside him. He took a moment during the performance to acknowledge the Delhi Police for ensuring safety and smooth operations at the venue.
Commenting on the opening show, Naman Pugalia, Chief Business Officer – Live Events, BookMyShow, said, “Delhi didn't just open the RuPay AURA India Tour; it set the bar for every city that will follow. Diljit has spent a decade earning the applause and emotions of a crowd that sings his songs back to him, city by city, country by country, and a fully sold-out Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium tonight gave him exactly that.”
He added that the opening performance marked the beginning of a six-week journey across India, with BookMyShow Live looking forward to taking the tour to audiences in multiple cities.
A specially curated drone show brought the evening to a close, lighting up the Delhi sky with the message ‘Panjabi Aa Gaye Oye!’, celebrating Punjabi music, culture and identity.
The event also featured several fan engagement initiatives, including a complimentary turban-tying camp for attendees and curated food and beverage experiences across the venue.
The tour will next travel to Indore on November 15, followed by Ahmedabad on November 21, Mumbai on November 27, Bengaluru on November 29 and Lucknow on December 5, 2026. Details of the Chandigarh and Kolkata shows are expected to be announced soon.
Tickets for the upcoming concerts are available exclusively on BookMyShow. The RuPay AURA India Tour 2026 is presented by Chivas Luxe Collective Perfumes.
