Sufi singer Bismil is set to take his live musical experience, Bismil Ki Mehfil, to audiences across India with a seven-city tour presented by Supermoon, the flagship live entertainment property of Zee Live.
The tour will cover Pune, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Indore and Ahmedabad, while dates for Mumbai and Delhi are expected to be announced soon. Blending traditional Sufi poetry and soulful melodies with contemporary musical arrangements, the live experience aims to bring the traditional mehfil format to a wider, modern concert-going audience.
The tour will kick off in Pune on November 1, 2026, at Mayfield Estate, followed by Jaipur on November 14 and Hyderabad on November 28. The performances will then move to Indore on December 24, before reaching Ahmedabad on January 16, 2027.
Led by Bismil's vocals and stage presence, Bismil Ki Mehfil combines soulful renditions with high-energy performances and audience singalongs, creating an interactive live music experience centred on Sufi music and poetry.
Commenting on the tour, Gareth Eswin Thomas, Business Head, Zee Live, said, “Bismil Ki Mehfil is a celebration of India’s rich musical heritage and the timeless ability of music to bring people together. Sufi music, with its profound poetry and soul-stirring melodies, continues to resonate across generations and audiences alike.”
He added that the collaboration with Supermoon will help take the experience to audiences across India, bringing fans closer to the artist and the live mehfil format.
For Bismil, audience participation and emotional connection remain central to the experience.
“Mehfil has its own energy. It is about the music, the poetry and the connection that develops between the artist and the audience. With this India tour, I’m excited to take Bismil Ki Mehfil to more cities, meet new audiences and sing along with them. Every city brings a different energy, and that’s what makes performing live so special,” the singer said.
With the tour, Supermoon adds another property to its live entertainment portfolio, bringing a contemporary interpretation of India's Sufi musical traditions to audiences across multiple markets.
