Artist Aloud Partners With ATKT.in To Target College Students
Artist Aloud, a Hungama- owned platform that promotes and supports independent music, announced its partnership with ATKT.in today, which is a digital platform that promotes original content by college students. As a part of this collaboration, ATKT.in will provide Artist Aloud access to original, curated content across categories such as performance poetry, dance, music, comedy etc. Artist Aloud will use its reach to help ATKT's content reach a wider audience and get appreciated across a plethora of people, not just college students. Artist Aloud will also help ATKT.in access to fresh talent across college festivals and concerts across Indian campuses.
Speaking about this partnership with ATKT.in, Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt. Ltd Artist Aloud Vice President Soumini Sridhara Paul said, “As the leading platform for independent talent, we intend to offer artistes across categories, an opportunity to reach a larger audience. The association will allow us to accumulate independent and original content at a collegian level and provide the content creators with opportunities and recognition they deserve. At the same time, we will also be able to offer our audience a wide variety of original content that they are unlikely to discover on any other platform.”
Through this strategic partnership, Hungama will reach to a younger demographic and will enable young talent to reach a larger audience further strengthening its position as a content platform for independent arts. Content sourced from ATKT.in will be present on all Artist Aloud platforms including the mobile app, website and social media such as Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and its blog.
ATKT.in Co-founder Saurabh Kanwar told Indiantelevision.com, "ATKT is kicked off to bring our legion of campus creators even more opportunities to grow and thrive through Hungama’s platforms. Artist Aloud's plans to reach out to colleges through ATKT is a validation of the quality and extent of the campus community we have built, and its growing importance in building rich, entertaining original content. With the college festival season getting underway, we are gearing up to a whole new crop of budding artists to showcase to the world, and this partnership will definitely provide another great outlet for these singers, dancers, writers, poets and artists.

The Loudest take

This partnership is not just beneficial for a communal website like ATKT.in but also for Artist Aloud which is surely looking to expand to less established markets such as college campuses. By targetting college students, they can monetize the partnership through college festivals and concerts which have high ticket value and investments by various sponsors.
