Boxout.fm partners up with Absolut for 'Boxout Wednesdays'

The radio station has come a long way since inception with quality programming and top bookings for their flagship shows. Boxout.fm's longest running property show Boxout Wednesdays has recently teamed up with Absolut for their weekly residency at Summer House Cafe Delhi. Starting this July the new partnership between Absolut and Boxout.fm will see both the entities aligning themselves on a mission to showcase the sounds and stylings of alternative music, culture and the creative arts in India. Boxout Wednesdays was launched a month prior to the launch of the radio station and has been running for sixteen straight months. The show has established itself as a fulcrum of alternative and independent music and culture in the Indian capital. July, the first month of the association, will see international artists like Danny Scrilla, A/K/A Sounds along with homegrown artists like FILM, Bhish, Aeon Waves, Rohan Kalé, and Ox7gen. A special live hip-hop edition featuring Azadi Records’ signees Prabh Deep and Seedhe Maut is also slated for the first month. This collaboration falls in line with Absolut’s consistent championing of music and creativity, both in India as well as internationally. Globally, Absolut has collaborated with the Grammy Awards and recent Indian collaborations include associations with artists such as Khruangbin and DJ Stingray on their most recent tours of the country.

Boxout Wednesdays is live-streamed on Boxout.fm from Summer House Cafe in New Delhi every week. Those unable to attend in person can tune in online and enjoy the music in the comfort of their own homes. In 2018, Boxout Wednesdays has hosted Madam X, Nathan Fake, Nightwave, Eclair Fifi, Nickodemus, Noah Slee, Aaron DRM, Nathan Jonson alongside local talent from across the country.
