This one is MAGICAL!

The Sufi-Route | November 18, 2017, | New Delhi

The Sufi Route is a project born out of a desire to create new sounds, formats and to work with legendary music artists. They have been bestowed with divine grace, that they have A R Rahman-The Mozart of the East being the 'Sutradhaar' of The Sufi Route. He is a phenomenal talent, our poets, Turkish Dervish artistes and other musicians are also in a league of their own. Bacardi NH7 Weekender Pune | December 8-10, 2017 

The festival will move its base to its home, 45 days after executing the upcoming Meghalaya edition. The line-up obviously differs to the Meghalaya edition. The big addition in the December edition will be American band Cigarettes After Sex. The band’s inclusion in the line-up was announced pretty late, and understandably, the social media reacted to it pretty enthusiastically. The headliners at Meghalaya will continue their Weekender association to Pune as guitar hero Steve Vai and metallers The Dillinger Escape Plan will perform in Pune. This will be the American metal band’s last live performance ever, so expect some emotions at the end and during their set. Bollywood director and music director Vishal Bharadwaj will perform a curated set at the festival. The festival will be held from 8 to 10 December. Tickets and other details here.

Magnetic Fields Festival | December 15-17, 2017 

Ever since its inception, Magnetic Fields Festival has raised the bar in emphasizing the contemporary forms of music and art and breaking the usual stereotypes about music festivals. With multiple dedicated stages, the festival returns to Alsisar Mahal with a strong line-up featuring Four Tet, Ben UFO, Actress (who performed at the Boiler Room Mumbai edition earlier this year), Special Request, Machinedrum and more. Taalbelia | December 23-25, 2017

What’s December without a destination music festival, right? Taalbelia returns with the second edition of its three-day fiesta at Mandawa in Northern Rajasthan. After a successful first edition, the festival returns to its home turf continuing with the ideology of celebrating diverse musical styles. Imagine a festival promoting the music that would perfectly compliment the essence of the vibes thanks to the isolated and quaint village. The line-up for the festival has not been announced yet, but considering the first edition’s line-up, one can be assured that the festival will continue to NOT disappoint the fans. Check for details. Time Out 72 | December 27, 2017

Making its debut in Goa’s Vagator, the three-day festival sprung to the entertainment headlines lately for its BIG announcement. American rapper and songwriter Wiz Khalifa will perform his debut set ever in India at this festival on 28 December. The festival has associated with Don’t Let Daddy Know and partnerships like these obviously amount to some cool results. The three-day multi-genre fiesta also announced the headliners for the other two days and some have even predicted the heavyweight names would overshadow whatever its counterparts are offering. American songwriter of the ‘I’m Lucky’ fame, Jason Derulo will headline the first day of the festival i.e. 27 December, while the top-ranked rapper in DJ Mag, young and sensational Martin Garrix will return to the subcontinent with a headlining set on 29 December. Sunburn | December 29, 2017

Marred by controversies regarding the venue recently, Sunburn’s upcoming edition would be one of its most important ones. In order to revive its legendary status in the league of electronic music festivals, Sunburn 2017 will bring down the acclaimed producer DJ Snake to India. As the festival prepares to announce more artists, the first revelation itself has got dozens of fans heading to bookmyshow to book the tickets.
