Enrique Iglesias To Return To India This October For Mumbai Concert: Reports

Pop superstar Enrique Iglesias may be heading back to India this October, with a live performance in Mumbai reportedly in the works. As per Hindustan Times, a Gujarat-based event company is said to be planning the concert, which would mark Iglesias’ first appearance in the country in over a decade.

If confirmed, the show would be his first in India since 2012, when he performed in Pune, Gurugram, and Bengaluru during his last tour. While the news has sparked a wave of excitement among fans, there has been no official confirmation yet from the artist or his team. Mumbai also does not currently appear on Iglesias’ official tour schedule, leaving fans eagerly awaiting an official announcement.

Known for global hits like Hero, Bailamos, and Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You), Iglesias has expressed his affection for India in the past. In a 2019 Instagram post, he shared a video from an earlier tour where a fan chased his car, shouting his admiration. Enrique captioned it, “One of my favourite places in the world! I love you #India can’t wait to be back!!”

Having previously toured India in 2004 and 2012 to overwhelming fan response, Iglesias’ possible return would be a significant moment for both fans and India’s rapidly growing live music scene. His concert would join a wave of high-profile international acts performing in the country, including Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Travis Scott, Guns N’ Roses, and Alan Walker.
