The OnePlus Music Festival was held at the DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai on Saturday – 16th November 2019. The global event included a gifted line up of international and local artists who lit up the crowd with their illustrious performances. The main highlight of the evening was pop stars, Katy Perry and Dua Lipa.
Katy Perry was the most prominent performer at the event, proving that why shy she is such a Superstar! Starting with her new song ‘Bon Appetit’, she went on to perform ‘This is How We Do’, ‘One of The Boyz’ and ‘Hot n Cold’. Besides this, Katy also sang ‘Teenage Dreams’, ‘California Girls’, ‘Last Friday Night’, ‘Wide Awake’, ‘Roar’ and ‘Firework’, among other hits.
Dua Lipa also performed that evening, making a crisp debut in India! The singer looked stunning and began with ‘Blow Your Mind’ and even sang her hits ‘One Kiss’, ‘Be The One’, ‘Hotter than Hell’, ‘Don’t Start Now’, ‘Scared to be Lonely’, and ‘IDGAF’.
The mesmerising evening began with rock-band Aswekeepsearching performance, followed by the Hindi rock band The Local Train that started with ‘Vaqif’ and ended with their famous track ‘Khudi’. The highlight was a performance by Dhvani Bhanushali who sang her hit songs ‘Vaaste’, ‘Dilbar’ and ‘Psycho Saiyaan’ – a spectacular surprise pulled by the organisers!
Composer and film director Amit Trivedi also performed significant acts such as ‘O Pardesi’, ‘Emotional Atyachaar’, ‘Zinda’ from Lootera and ‘Ik Kudi’ from Udta Punjab. Ritviz also chimed in, with the performance of his latest track ‘Ved’ featuring Divine, followed up by ‘Sage’, ‘Barso’ and ‘Jeet’ and went on to finish with ‘Uddh Gaye’.
